NATUROPATHY AND GUT WELLNESS  MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage Therapy - AN APPROACH FOR EVERY BODY -

I believe that every body is individual, and I respect your health goals, whether that includes stress relief, rehabilitation, or improved performance.

  • ABDOMINAL MASSAGE (Chi Nei Tsang) = Energy of the internal organs
  1. is a holistic approach that integrates the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our being. The treatment works mainly on the abdomen with deep, soft and gentle touches to train our internal organs to work more efficiently.

The abdominal massage helps relieve the body of excess stagnation, improving elimination and stimulating the lymphatic and the circulatory systems.

Breath is the motor of life. The movement of breath directly impacts all physiological aspects of the body. CNT helps to get clients to feel and ease their breathing because there can be no self-improvement without improvement of breath or an increase in awareness. Through work with the breath, CNT re-establishes connections within our physical, mental and emotional selves.

What to expect during a CNT treatment?

- A treatment begins with a dialogue between the client and me, discussing your health history and any current issues you wish to address via treatment.

- Plan to wear comfortable clothing and it would be recommended not to eat at least 3 hours before the treatment. I will help you to be comfortable on a massage table.

- I will begin the treatment with gentle and precise touches to your abdomen as I will guide you in breathing mindfully into the areas that I’m working with. You may experience a deep sense of relaxation and re-connection with yourself on a physical and emotional level during the treatment. The treatment will last approximately one hour; you may even fall asleep, and this too is part of the therapeutic experience.

  • THAI OIL MASSAGE This massage is suitable for anyone that wants a well being massage with health benefits.

Specifically works to stimulate the flow of energy and unblock meridians (sen lines) by applying pressure on specific points.

Application of coconut oil mixed with essential oils.

The touching of pressure points and the long firm stroke technique are designed to meet your individual needs, bringing your body and mind into perfect equilibrium. This massage follows eastern and Ayurvedic traditions adapted perfectly for the western environment and is performed on a massage table.

The benefits of Thai Oil Massage: promotes relaxation and enables a feeling of well-being by releasing blocked energy and tension, improves blood circulation and heart function, releases muscle tension, ache and pain, reduces fatigue and muscular pain, stimulates the release of endorphins and serotonin, improves sleep, increases the flow of lymph and boosts the immune system.

Naturopathy and gut wellness

  • My approach starts from the GUT! -

We are what we digest! I believe that health begins in the digestive tract and creating a healthy gut is a great first step to wellness. Our gut is like the roots of a plant; it is from where our organism extracts and absorbs nutrients and seeds it towards the rest of the body.

My name is Wei Zhao.  I am an acupuncturist member of the Quebec Order of the Acupunturists (www.o-a-q.org).  I am also member of the Quebec commission of Experts in Alternative medicines (www.cpmdq.com), the Quebec Association of Professional Massotherapists as well as of the International Continence Associate (www.ics.org) .

In 1987 I graduated in Chinese medicine from the Chinese traditional medicine University of TianJin (www.tjutcm.edu.cn/). I have been treating patients since 1987 with Chinese medicine initially at a hospital affiliated to the University of traditional Chinese medicine in Tianjin China where, in 1995, I became doctor-in-chief. From January 1993 to July 1993, I was trained in TianJin Tumor Hospital (China) and, from January 1996 to February 1997, I was trained in TianJin Thoracic Hospital (China).  I have a deep knowledge of Chinese Pharmacopeia, better known as Chinese Herbs.

Although  acupuncture is the major component  of Traditional Chinese medicine, the use of chinese herbs acts as a very efficient complement. Together, these tools have proven to be very successful in many cases,

My training and my practice of more then 25 years have made it possible for me to develop a vast array of competences with the only objective the improvement of my patients' health, the recovery of their health, and the maintenance of their health through prevention measure. This approach reflects my deep desire to understand human beings in all their complexity and, in doing so, to contribute to their wellbeing.

No more than Western medicine, Traditional Chinese medicine does not claim to be a universal cure. But I am convinced that the simultaneous use of both medicines offers patients an additional healing potential.

Please note that in order to assure perfect sanitary conditions for my patients I use only sterile new and disposable needles.

If you are interested in my approach, but you have questions or doubts, please do not hesitate to contact me. It will be my pleasure to help you.
